Christine Charity Foundation is based in Kampala, Uganda. We serve children, young people and families with compassion, while creating practical pathways toward dignity, safety and self-reliance.
What began as a simple desire to help has grown into a foundation rooted in one belief: every child in Kampala deserves to be seen, protected and given a fair chance in life. We meet families where they are, we listen before we act, and we choose to walk with them for the long term rather than offer help that quickly fades.
Our heart is the girl child. When a girl stays in school, stays safe and grows in confidence, her whole family and community rise with her. Alongside that calling we respond in moments of crisis, share what we have through philanthropy, and open doors to education and skills.
Through girl child advocacy, emergency response, philanthropy, education and support for vulnerable households, we work so that communities across Kampala can grow with hope — because compassion, to us, is something you can hold in your hands.

One practical gift can mean a school uniform, books, sanitary towels and the confidence to keep showing up for class.
Education is one of the surest ways to break a cycle — for a girl, for her future family, and for her whole community.
An educated girl can earn more, provide better for her family and pass opportunity on to her own children.
Every extra year in class helps delay early marriage and childbirth, keeping a girl safer and healthier.
Girls who learn grow into women who make informed choices about health, nutrition and their children's schooling.
School gives a girl skills, friendships and the confidence to speak up, lead and shape her own future.
